@samadeleine It does seem that you are in a middle ground, and that wouldn't help. So far, aside from family, I don't know any Autistics in real life. I do know we have different traits. @robrecht The laws in various countries, and states within those countries, do have a bearing on how we can best advise those new to autism diagnosis (whether self-dx or official dx). Leaving aside immigration, they need to know what - if any - resources are available like counselling, etc. I feel that this is the best way to help fellow #ActuallyAutistic folk, and family members seeking help for newly diagnosed #Autistics & #AuDHDers @Flightlessbird

For people on the #autism spectrum, especially for #AuDHDers, who discovered they were autistic as adults. How did you come to this realization, because I think I may have it but who knows.
