So I am seriously considering starting my own twitch or YouTube channel. My goal would be to stream playthroughs of audio games, right now, they would be audio games on my iOS device. It would also be kind of neat if I could do a pay to view option, if I wanted, or at least an option for people to donate if they wish. So I have questions for everyone. Number one what is the accessibility of twitch versus YouTube, with twitch do I need to show my face in front of the camera at all times? And which of them would have a donate option if people wanted to do that? Keep in mind I would be primarily using my iOS device to do these sorts of live streams, they would be on audio games and they wouldn’t be step-by-step guides just play throughs. #YouTube #Twitch #AudioGames.

Anyone else have the strange shared memory of pausing Tarzan Junior for the first time and hearing this random chill ass lounge music in what was normally a loud, fast paced, violence filled side scrolling adventure game? It was like stepping from the hot, loud, stressful streets of a busy city and into a classy restaurant.

Lets see who remembers this banger! Coming from a nearly 20-year-old game, this catchy main menu track still gives me an almost painful hit of nostalgia! Summers spent keyboard mashing and blasting hundreds of spaceships out of the sky with my sighted siblings are etched indelibly into my memory.

So, apparently the audio game a Heroes Call has been released as freeware now. I am definitely going to check that out this afternoon. I’m also gonna watch some movies with audio description, have some wine, and some sloppy Joe’s! As yall have probably noticed, the freeware version of A Hero's Call currently has a couple of bugs, in a nostalgic throwback to the game's original release.
Just watch that original thread for updates, as Ian Reed is working on them and has already released a new version fixing the slow walking and NVDA SAPI crash issues. Remember, auto updating is gone, so you'll need to manually update from now on.

For anyone who already owns the game A Hero's Call, Ian Reed just released a freeware version which you should pick up even if you already have a copy. Improvements include: No waiting for the game to start or needing to log in. Audio errors that kept some people from running the game may now be fixed! Bonus kickstarter backer content now available for everyone, and all language translations now included in the download.
