Jamaicaans #reggae zanger, die bekend werd nadat hij tijdens een albumopname van zijn vriend #WinstonMcAnuff de kans kreeg een song te zingen, in de studio zat #AugustusPablo een reggea producer die met hem zijn eerste eigen songs liet opnemen.
Ze nemen het album Afrika Must Be Free op zijn debuut in 1978.
Op 14 oktober 1983 worden hij en zijn vrouw vermoord in hun auto, hun kind overleeft de aanslag.
