i feel TOO many in the main media (abc, commercial, etc) aren't doing well at discussing IT and security issues clearly after recent hacks... and then accurately hitting the right points to push and report on. its worrying random people you meet going about your day (that don't know you work in IT even)

thankfully they aren't involved in actually helping fix it, largely that's already being done by people who know shit. all they need to do is push for widespread adoption of solutions that (mostly) exist already

also understand that shit happens in IT and all companies can do is apologise. it could happen to them or the government too. move on and learn.
