Nought for two with #Auspost since moving. My package went from "onboard for delivery" at 8.19am to "attempted delivery - unable to gain access" at 9.11. Which of course is bullshit. Maybe I'll let them have this one since the weather is a bit Armageddony today

Always nice copping a lil bit of abuse from an #AusPost post office employee because their app hasn’t generated a QR code to pickup a parcel. It’s not like I have any control over that thing - all she had to do was type in the short tracking number 🤯

It's really hard to keep a #cardsphere balance when people keep sending you cards....

At least my haves list is 20x my wants, pity no one wants my haves list.

Maybe it's time to risk another 'package' to the US. The scanning of letters that should be packages may not be that frequent, just because my first attempt in 3 years was caught doesn't mean the scanning rates are that high.

Anyone know how routinely #AusPost picks up on such parcels/letters?

This screen of #AusPost's shipment tracking in #Australia is truly confusing af.

It says "It's coming today" but the package isn't actually arriving for another 2-4 days.

Surprised that Australians have not rioted over how bad Australia Post has become. Apparently there is money for crazy electric carts but not for on time delivery. Can't believe I've been waiting for a delivery from metro Melb to metro Melb since Tuesday.

Kudos to #Auspost, they're brilliant. Loving the parcel locker system and my fact our local postie knows everyone on the street and can figure out even the most garbled address. This is what good publicly-owned, public *services*, not profiteering opportunities, is all about.

And once again #AusPost prove that common sense is something they do not possess, and good customer service is something they do not care about.

Left a parcel at my front door, in a totally unsafe place, without making any attempt to see if I was home (I was), and then sent me a notification to say “parcel was left in a safe place”.

With a photo showing parcel in said "safe” (but really “unsafe") place.

At least the app notification worked.

Time for yet another complaint …

Then you go and collect it, because you're a clairvoyant.

Then, 4 days later, they (finally) drop a card in your letterbox, telling you that you have a package waiting.

from Mail2Day saying I have a letter in my PO Box in Caboolture that has caused all the trouble - so I will go and see if it really is there or if it bounced again - it should be letter I posted to myself on 24/4/23 to test PO Box delivery

I'm cutting it fine this week - one of missus' birthday presents is only due to arrive Thursday. It's her birthday Friday. To be fair, I was mostly out of action with covid for a week and she didn't tell me what she wanted until after.
I am hoping the parcel doesn't go into the black hole that is the Welshpool sorting office.

Renewing a simple PO Box with #AustraliaPost has to be one of the most tedious things humanity has to offer..

1. Paid $261 for the most basic PO Box with PO Box Plus (so I can receive parcels), the website says it's now sent me a receipt and tax invoice..

2. No receipt and no tax invoice..

3. I contact #AusPost and their flunky says to "check your junk mail folder" (which is the very first thing I tried), I email back again already done, please send tax invoice.

4. Same flunky emails back saying they've sent a "second" (lol, where's the first?) tax invoice attached to this email, there's no attachment on the email at all..

5. Wrote back again letting flunky know there was in fact no attachment and to PLEASE *SEND* MY *RECEIPT* and *TAX INVOICE* THANKYOU!..

6. Money came out of my account straight away upon paying, still waiting for the tax invoice and receipt, the joys of dealing with mindless money-hungry corporations................

'It's coming today' - surely i'm not the only person that gets a small adrenaline jolt from those words. The anticipation has been prolonged due to the long weekend here in Victoria so it is even more exciting.
