So when it came down to it, the #lnp council decided that an #australianflag is a maintenance issue, like a road or a sign. They haven’t set up a monitoring programme, so it will be up to locals to report when the flag is falling to bits. #auspol It’s all politics, not patriotism.

Finally. Somebody in the #brisbanecitycouncil has taken responsibility for replacing the very worn and tired looking #australianflag . It’s been a rough 10 days. But this is just an interim solution. #publicservants whose first response is “It’s nothing to do with me” will continue to make it hard for anybody and everybody.

This is me doing a #protest because the #brisbanecitycouncil won’t take care of the #australianflag The #police didn’t ask me to move on, and the council sent several people in cars to drive past and look at me. #ffs They could have changed the flag for a new one with all that effort. Would have taken 5 minutes. #dumbanddumber
