Today, Tuesday, the #AustralianSenate's Community Affairs References Committee, chaired by Senator Janet Rice (Greens–Victoria), holds the public hearing for its Inquiry into the nature and extent of poverty in Australia, at the Hotel Grand Chancellor on Leichhardt St. I am one of four witnesses, as is one of my Twitter mutuals, David Wakeham. The government appears to have secured the support of the Greens and Senator Pocock on the secure jobs better pay bill.
