Chewie the brushtail was back this morning. We had no overnight guests this week but the food I've been leaving out has been eaten every night. It was nice to see her. She's had some apple for tea, firmly said no to carrots and will be heading out for a night of #possum business.

There's a lake near where I've been working today that is absolutely full of back swans. So I thought I would venture out and see if I could get a few photos.
I was there twice today for about an hour. I have about a million photos but I did manage to snap these two of a pair in low flight across the lake.
I'm not very good at cropping yet, so I've uploaded both. If anyone has some constructive advice, I'd be grateful.

I'd actually pulled over because I saw some bower birds fluttering about. They were too shy but I noticed this fella on the way back to the ute.

If ever there was some cheeks that needed scritching, it's the Red-necked Wallaby.
I saw quite a few today but this one was the only one that wasn't too perturbed by my presence.
Took ages to get one with both ears forward. Those things are literally on swivels!
