#Mastodon currently removes all #Metadata from Pictures. This is enforced, you hae no choice to keep intentionally embedded data such as #AuthorInformation or #License type.

From a #photograpers viewpoint, I consider this enforced incapacitation of my #AuthorRights. Metada are a vital part of my work. I need a choice on what I share.

You don't force musicians to strip their shared songs of all information on title, album, singer or composer.
