I went to sleep last night dreaming of a #Christmas #shortstory that MIGHT be adjacent to a #paranormal #cozymystery #series I've been percolating for a while. Wrote the first 500 words this morning.

Like I NEED to write in yet ANOTHER genre. Sigh. At least it's in #Ireland, like most of my other #books.

OK! The #FirstDraft of #ThreadsOfTime, the #sequel to #TimeTouristOutfitters, is FINISHED! It's only about 60,000 words, but I wrote the whole thing during November for #NaNoWriMo.

That word count will increase with editing, as I always add as I fill out scenes, add subplots and breadcrumbs, etc. But now back to the #EditingMonster and get some more of my backlog finished.

#AuthorUpdate - I've been slacking off 🙂 After I wrote 50K on #NaNoWriMo, I wrote about 4K more and tapered off.

Instead, I'm #procrastinating #writing.

I migrated to a new version of my mailing list platform, and updated the onboarding, getting lost in a sea of API keys and CRM requirements, WAY out of my wheelhouse.

I updated my #Scotland and #Ireland #travel #books to 2023 editions, and uploaded those to the various sites. Then I had to attach all my Amazon ads to the new versions.

#AuthorUpdate Today I wrote 2382 words on my #WIP for #NaNoWriMo, #ThreadsOfTime, the sequel to #TimeTouristOutfittersLtd.

My total is now 23,798 on day 10. Not too bad, almost halfway to 50K!
