Day 22 of waiting for the results of my #NeuroPsychEvaluation for a suspected diagnosis that includes a "low frustration tolerance" as a feature/bug

They told me 2-3 weeks, so you bet your buttons I had my partner call on my behalf to attempt to metaphorically shake something loose

Ideas for how to celebrate an #AutismDiagnosis anyone?

Still awaiting results, and I know that I'll have to grieve either way, but I really, really need to find a way to mark this, whether it's #ADHD #Autism or #AuDHD

I know it's kind of an individual thing, but I'd love some creative/ unusual/ weird ideas tbh

My experience with a neuro-psych evaluation:

-8 hours long, spread over 2 days, not counting results.

- over 500 questions on paper, 2 hour interview + interview of loved one, they prefer to interview a caregiver from patient's childhood.

-Puzzles, etc designed to test attention span, frustration tolerance, ability to understand tone, facial expressions, etc. #APD made these harder.

Schon dieses Prozedere hält Minimum 90% autistischer Menschen davon ab, überhaupt an eine Diagnostik bzw. einen Platz auf einer Warteliste zu kommen.
