I'm extra tired this morning due to physical overexertion and Too Many Tasks in general.
Sometimes I overdo it, but a lot of the physical overexertion had to do with making this underinsulated apartment livable in the winter.
Going to bag out of a social commitment to help a friend's kid with his English classes today (I do get paid for it). Mom will be disappointed, but my literal physical health comes first.

@btaroli @stephen @shaun @actuallyautistic be aware that just because we CAN do a thing doesn't mean it's going to be good for us over the long haul.
I masked and self-medicated my way through 20+ years of fulltime tech employment in an office environment, and ultimately the combination nearly cost me my life
Had I had a DX earlier, I might have opted for part-time or #Freelance work as a writer, editor, or translator.

Would you be interested in a discussion about the book: "Older Autistic Adults In their Own Words, The Lost Generation?" by Wilma Wake, Eric Endlich, Robert S. Lagos.
I'm leading for December the discussion on an online autistic community and I am wondering if you would be interested if I share my posts on here?

Thank you for the text version. As more and more people get diagnosed later in life your testimony is essential. (It was last year for me at 49).
