We’ve had unbelievably good weather during our stay in Skye, the Highlands, Edinburgh, and now Glasgow; we’re headed home tomorrow just after a major heat wave passed through (#Minnesota). It was bound to happen folks. I blame MS Office updates, to be honest. I think they reset my #autocorrect dictionary, or whatever you call the thing where everyone who teaches about or works with the public goes to make sure public is always spelled with an L, and then it always autocorrects other spellings of public across all office apps, including PowerPoint, so that your slides for the first day of class say "Public Focused."
Autocorrect failed.
And it finally happened.

How many people are getting tripped up by #autocorrect being wrong? I'm constantly noticing these things making mistakes.

"Whether it is bicycles" is "it's", "its" is possessive and makes absolutely no bloody sense.

As a new resident of XXXX W Arthington St, I anticipate more phone conversations like some I’ve had with service ppl recently.

Them: We are at YYYY W Arlington St, but can’t find XXXX.

Me: ArtTHington, with a TH. Not Arlington with an R.

I’ve trained Siri to not #autoCorrect wrong, but even where I know I’ve entered it correctly on some form or in a text or email, it gets miscorrected down stream.
