I don't believe it - after 2 days of contorting into the driver's footwell of my Yaris, and feeding through, stripping, and attaching connectors to wires which I could barely see, taking phone pics of inaccessible areas, and trying to convert them to a mental map of the hidden 3D space up behind the dashboard, thinking how this was actually 🧑‍🔧Fun🧑‍🏭 to me when I was 40 years younger, when you didn't have to wonder if there was any way to inadvertently set off an airbag,
I did the last connection, THEN found the clips which released the panel which I have been constantly and vehemently cursing as I worked around it!

The blocking panel just detaches, and voilà, it's like the engineers meant for the car to be easy to work on🤦‍♂️

<deeeep breath>

Looks like I'll have to connect that last, optional wire that I wasn't going to bother with, now that everything is suddenly so open, and accessible, and easy to see, and trivial to get at …

but I'll do that *after* my session of rhythmically banging my head on my desk.
