I only have old (but decent) #telescope gear. I have a decently mounted 6 inch f/5 #Newtonian for example. The mount is a motor driven but manually controlled #EQ.

From what I'm seeing, to get to a point to get digital photos through an #AutoTrackingMount, I'd need a new electronically controlled mount, an #autoguider, and a #DigitalCamera capable of time exposures. Right?

That would easily cost 2k or more from what I see.

Am I seeing this right?
