Arrowtown in Autumn - if you catch it at the right time - can be spectacular as the leaves change colour.

Scuffling in the leaves.
A few minutes from home there's an ornamental oak tree. It puts on a show this time of year when its leaves turn and drop to the ground. I always enjoy scuffling through the leaves – somewhat like a kid walking to school!

These are clinging on despite the recent gales.
I love sorbus berries and this is a favourite - 'Pink Pagoda'.
The leaves are pretty too, a grey/blue colour that turn beautiful shades of red in autumn.
A great tree for a small garden.
