Kdenlive 23.08.0 adds a new AV1 NVENC profile.
NVENC is a feature in Nvidia graphics cards that perform video encoding, offloading this compute-intensive task from the CPU to a dedicated part of the GPU.

感覺新功能還有許多地方可以測試

Intel ARC #A750 在做 AV1 編碼的時候
其實使用率也是蠻高的
或許有機會入手其它入門 AV1 編碼卡
像是 #RX7600 或是 #rtx4060

BUT if you REALLY NEED IT:
Consider using #AV1 (#VP9 + #Opus) or #WebM (#VP8 + #Vorbis) since there are #BSD- & #MPL-licensed reference implementations for those AND they are #RoyalityFree & #PatentFree...

427 followers · 2874 posts · Server mamot.fr@arthurr sur un Core i5 avec son chipset graphique intégré, en 1080p, le #hevc demande 8 à 10 % des ressources cpu quand le #av1 en exige 25. Ça reste donc, amha, plutôt raisonnable car on est loin de saturer le processeur.
Et niveau taille du fichier, c'est sans appel. En partant d'une ISO d'un bluray (pour avoir un truc aussi propre que possible) en direction d'un MKV, le HEVC pèse 4,6 GiB quand le AV1 en affiche … 1,5.
