I finally got to play Magpie's #AvatarRPG and it was pretty fun!

We didn't end up pushing the limits in a one-shot, but it was intriguing to see how my character's most dire moment, mechanically, wasn't a fight, but instead when a villain convinced him of the importance of being selfish and left him on the verge of losing self-control and doing something bad.
