Es ist ewig her, seit ich #Avatar gesehen habe, aber ich dachte mir, ich nutze mein #DisneyPlus Abo, um mir #TheWayOfWater anzuschauen. Die Unterwasserumgebungen sind auf jeden Fall atemberaubend, auch wenn in einigen Shots das #CGI etwas billig aussieht. Und obwohl ich die Botschaft über die Ausbeutung der Natur und fremder Völker weiterhin wichtig finde, wirkt die Story insgesamt etwas einseitig und flach.

Two hours into #AvatarTheWayOfWater, and I'm almost certain this movie has a storyline. I'm not fully sure what it is, but maybe it'll become a bit clearer over the last hour and a quarter.
Visually it's stunning. The musical motifs from the first movie are familiar, and as evocative as ever. I just... I'm not sure why any of it is happening.
Did they come back for the unobtainium again? Why is there a whaling ship? Who is Spider anyway? What... with the Colonel... Who?

Watching #AvatarTheWayOfWater not a patch on the first movie and way overlong too. Wasn't really a need for a sequel IMHO.. then imagine how dismayed I was to see this !
