Nine years ago today, I saw #ChrisCornell perform a solo show at the Blumenthal here in Charlotte. Quite unexpectedly, the #AvettBrothers joined him on stage and covered “Footsteps” by #PearlJam. Here’s my awful photograph of that stellar moment.

My conservative friend of 40yrs turned me on to them.
I mention it for 2 reasons:
1. It’s important to maintain friendships even when you don’t agree.
(neither of us benefit in our own bubble of isolation)
2. The #avettbrothers are really really good.
