Aviator Charles Lindbergh was born before the Kitty Hawk flights. As a young man in 1927, he made a daring, first of it's kind flight across the Atlantic Ocean from NYC all the way to Paris. He lived to see the day that man would cross the vast and empty ocean of deep space. Truly incredible, the march of progress within one human lifetime.
