Nobody buy #MacBooks for #Specs - that's just a lie by #Fanboys.
People buy it because #macOS is the least-painful option to use #creative #CCSS like the stuff that #Adobe, #Avid, #BlackmagicDesign and mamy more produce.
It's literally called #finalcutOS for a reason, because that shit works - just like #accessibility does: Nobody can touch Apple's macOS & #iOS on that front!

The project really lost its way under some truly bad corporate leadership. But over the last 4ish years they’ve really turned it around. It was too late for a lot of us who moved on, but it would be silly of me to not acknowledge all the improvements to the product and its reputation in that time.

It's a standard for narrative editing for a reason. I prefer FCPX day to day but sometimes it feels like building on quicksand. Resolve is great on paper, I don't like it for editing. Premiere is, well... Adobe.

also, any dialogue or progress bar ALWAYS appears on Space 1, even when the app is on a different one :))))))) so it RIPS you out of the app and moves you on the first virtual desktop

My studio’s been running Pro Tools in “Native” mode since we retired our TDM system nearly a decade ago. It feels so good to be back and the new “Hybrid” engine is really incredible. I’d been trying to convince myself that “native” was just fine, and for mixing it really is…but recording bands is different and this upgrade feels “night and day” better.
