Editing music is a big part of my job and something I really enjoy as it allows me to be very thorough. I'm a fan of colour coding, particularly if working with large forces. The visual aspect helps me quickly identify the different parts: strings, wind, brass etc.

Not sure I'm leaving the bird site yet. I rarely found it to be good or important, so I don't feel invested in the current controversy. That said, I'm happy to see growth of federated and decentralized socials. That seems to be more aligned with how people act in real life. We generally go to friends' parties, not random ones, to make new friends.

Currently I work at Red Hat in engineering where we make RHEL -- Hi @RedHatRHEL@mastodon.social -- but my opinions here and everywhere are my own, not my employer's.

Here's a bunch of hashtags for things I like, and hope I can find here on Fedi in the future. (I haven't decided whether I want to strongly follow software stuff in my socials. My friends in that universe will likely find me anyway, which I welcome.)
