This morning in Laughlin I joined up with Friends of Sloan Canyon, local tribes, and the conservation community to provide support to BLM for protecting an area in the southern tip of Nevada the Mojave tribe calls #AviKwaAme. BLM Director Tracy Stone-Manning was in in attendance with other state and national BLM leaders to get feedback from the public on creating this proposed national monument. It was a packed house.
