I remembered some more of my Dolly art that I'd forgotten!
This illustration is inspired by Dolly's tv movie A SMOKY MOUNTAIN CHRISTMAS!
It was late 80's Dolly, when she got too thin and was into poodle wigs.

What triggered my memory was, as Mom was administering my StepDad's narcotic, she said, "Good night, Irene", and I immediately heard it in Dolly's voice, from the scene where she tricks the witch, Jezebel DuPree - played by Anita Morris!!! - into eating her own poisoned apple pie!

...& then I remembered, hey, I drew a picture of that!

I love finding art I've forgotten about... and there's so much of it!
