It’s #InternationalDogDay and as a dog person I should probably post a bunch of dog pics. I will, I will… I’m just so #avoidant when it comes to making posts that I am “supposed to” make! Like I have no trouble tooting the terrible puns that pop into my head, or reacting when I have an *Opinion*, but the completely ordinary activity of posting “here is my dog”, “here is my face”, “here is my craft or hobby”… for me those are more like the Sisyphus boulder.

But with secure attachment, we assume they’re just busy. Secure attachment provides a safe and reliable base.

There’s also #avoidant attachment where you reject before being rejected.

Anxious attachment still holds #hope for something to work towards.

It feels like I know a lot of people but only very surface level.
There are a few people I know quite closely. But there are others I want to know better too. But they seem content, even happy, to keep me very far away.
I don't know what to do about this. Feels like there is something intrinsically wrong with me that I don't know about, that keeps people from being closer friends.
