Although massive container ships and other special vessels gain the most attention, smaller multipurpose ships like this carry all kinds of important cargos - foodstuffs like grain, construction products like bricks and aggregates, fertilizers - anything that can be moved across the sea in bulk.

Still registered in our home port of Felixstowe, apparently, Svitzer Bentley is heading home to Swansea from Avonmouth Docks. Looks good heading against flood tide and a good breeze.

Had a nice drive around #cwmcarn #forest #drive today. Not been there since I was a teenager - recently reopened and well worth a visit. Some great views up towards #ebbwvale and beyond, and down across the #avonmouth estuary. Chargers the car at a #dragoncharging charger - it wasn’t as quick as I hoped, but not too bad getting back to 80%. Off to #CardiffBay and a night stop at the #premierinn tomorrow
