I've been slowly preparing to migrate to #wayland, spending an hour here and there trying to clone my #awesomewm workflow to #Hyprland.
Today I set out to replace Xcape with interception and dual-function-keys in order to bring over some advanced keyboard functionality from my current workflow.
I am not willing to let anyone know, how long I spent banging my head to the wall trying to get it to work, thinking I was too stupid to understand the documentation.

My wife has a few on her laptop as thay was the first computer we switches to Linux, this it has been our testing unit. I knownit has #KDE, XFCE, #AwesomeWM, #Openbox , #I3, #Gnome, and I think #Budgie
Edit: oh my little mango pi is rocking XFCE, #LXDE, and Openbox

- it. just. works
- trusting the community behind my chosen distro #debian
- the system does not stand in my way
- I can spend years using some piece of software very superficially, then one day decide to have a more complex use case and it is supported and discoverable
- very recently got into ricing (after years of default config) with #AwesomeWM, and that was fun
- all the games I want to play are supported

Need to help y'all. I have been trying to get #steam to work on either #awesomewm and #i3 but for some reason I just can't I have the following rules in each config respectively, but it still just quickly pops up and goes away. Works fine on the same machine but within a #desktop env so it seems to an issue with the #tiling manger

Need to step away from it for the night
