What is a #book, #manga, or #comic that you continue to go back to? Be it a comfort story, one that you just love, or one that you've re-read so much you can recite it backwards & forwards.

For me - I'd say #YourLieInApril for manga & #AWrinkleInTime for books. I've done 3 annual readthroughs of the former now & read the latter dozens of times (including once to my kids).

* The whole deal with Camazotz is that it's about conformity of thought and behavior. Mastodon isn't immune to groupthink, God knows, but the concept of federation actually actively interferes with the type of conformity that a centralized network like Twitter can impose. Think of all the tired-ass memes that take over the network every two weeks.

* The CW system helps you branch out. It allows you to keep a wider network of followers who otherwise would leave you because of an interest they can't engage with. It also encourages you to delve deeper into a topic or branch out to topics you otherwise wouldn't consider because of fear of the monolithic audience you're curating.

* Catching my own self flat-footed on this one, but surely there is a better literary metaphor for what they're trying to criticize. The IT from Wrinkle in Time is bordering on "read one more book - just trying reading one more book."
