My point or question is: do we still trust companies to keep their open source software publicly available to non-customers "forever"?

Especially when the software is the business they make money with and the "times" getting harder?

The good thing , although they own and , can't change the license because they didn't have the requirement to sign a CLA before a source contribution.

Would they have chosen to use if they could?

after looking for a few days, I have still yet to find a means of scaling awx. I did try to deploy a receptor or node with the ansible code awx provided, didn鈥檛 work even after I got it to work, container groups work but no way to deploy jobs based on group membership would have to create duplicate templates or multiple inventories for my one environment,no thank you!!

- nearly ready to give up on scaling awx. The awx cli doesn鈥檛 support specifying an instance group when launching a job template. To be clear there might be a method, but it failes every time and provided a feedback that is opposite from hepjng. What I mean is that it鈥檒l state it wants an int and then fail when I give it an int asking g for a list. Argh !!!!

Planning a write up on the (almost fully) automated deployment process I've made for $DAYJOB. It involves Ansible, AWX on OKD, and Foreman. I've spent a fair amount getting this all working and it's pretty slick!

Some may say over-engineered... but I like the tools that I know. Though if I could get the productized Ansible Automation Platform, I could remove the Kubernetes requirement.
