Te Whiti’s day, the 18th March, has always been looked upon as the occasion for a re-union of the Ngatiawa tribe at the Waitara Pa, but this year special significance was given to the gathering by the official acceptance by the tribe of the famous flint axe (Poutamawhiria) recently unearthed on Mr. Wells’s farm at Pukearuhe.

This was a revisit of a shot I did last Summer and posted last Fall. Played with the sliders a little bit to get it in line but didn't have to do too much. Feels a little bit like cheating but with day light savings time, I think I can use that as an excuse! Often, we talk about #cartesian #coordinates. If the vector changes, whether in #magnitude or #direction, we can calculate the updated components too. The converse question is what if the the vector is held constant and you change or #rotate the axes?
