Does anyone know what happened to JewishConversations@mastodon.world ?

@parkermolloy The moderator team at #BabkaSocial would have suspended Henry Ford’s Mastodon account for sure.

@johndoepe The #BabkaSocial moderator team is there to help. We block a lot of hatred on Mastodon, but only when users bring it to our attention. So everyone, please report every incident you come across. If we all pitch in, we can make Mastodon a better place for everyone. If you see something, say something.

Heads-up to anybody who is following me: I blocked @JewishConversations@mastodon.world weeks ago because of his dehumanizing and exclusionary behavior towards Black Jews and giyur. Many others on Babka did the same.

He apparently is bypassing these blocks to continue misrepresentations. At the end of the day, I will be blocking every account that follows him. Anybody who wants to be unblocked can message me.

Total newbie Q here for #BabkaSocial. What’s the mazeldon hashtag about/for? I’ve put together that it’s a portmanteau of “Mazel” (as in Tov) + “Mastadon” so a shorthand way of saying “Jewish Mastadon,” but are there limits? Are there usage guides? Or should it go on anything/everything “Jewy” to get broad visibility? (Sorry if there’s -actually- an FAQ somewhere. I’ve not found it.)

@hashfastr Oh shit ZOMG yes! Good one! It seems to be blocked already from my other account but I suspect #BabkaSocial is still new enough not to have figured out where to build the walls yet. From here I can see pr0n posts and half my federated timeline was Japanese till I gave up and filtered languages; the other account doesn't (so far) have that.
