Today was hard. A raft of bad news at work involving retirement due to ill health, a tripping and smashing up of a face, a 30-something husband having a stroke, and the death of a baby. I mean, come on.

An emotional farewell yesterday, after 15 months, to the STILL PARENTS: Life After Baby Loss exhibition at The Whitworth in partnership with Manchester Sands. So many parents came to light a candle next to the name of their baby or babies. There are 300 names around the walls of the gallery and hundreds of incredibly moving written comments and stories about #babyloss and the power of #art.

On that note - this is an absolutely harrowing story (CN, #BabyLoss) but maybe there's hope that science & indeed scientists can change the way expert witnesses + evidence is handled within legal systems.
