I know exactly how I'd build it:

- WordPress on a host I already use
- INN's Link Roundups plugin for stuff I find myself, with PHP 8 support
- Gravity Forms for tips
- RSS/email subscribe options
- post to Fediverse using the official plugin
- Maybe a tip jar; would need to talk to lawyers
- Maybe a calendar of upcoming events
- a quality blogroll

But, again, I do not have the time to do this, today or this week. #backburner

@nuala Bullet Journaling has helped but still making unrealistic plans - lots of stuff still doesn't get done to time and budget or even never.

Today for #projects I want to share one of my bigger works in progress.

I want to write a book. But none of the software I found was right for me. Being a developer, that's a problem i can solve.

So I built https://apollopad.com (currently free to use), a tool for #writing novels.

It's got some features I really wanted, like inline notes and a timeline. It's still lacking some I've been working on, like snapshots. But it's there and people are using it to write books.
