#backinmyday we had engine shop in highschool. We were also pretty bored and living on a working class income so one time I stripped my lawn mower down to its block and put it back together again just to prove I could do it and to kill time. And it worked!

We had to rewind the video tapes before returning them!

#BackInMyDay when you went to go start the car for the first time that day, you had to remember to push the gas pedal down fully and then give half a pump so the modern automatic electric choke would be set and the carb would be primed. Then before you set off, you snapped the throttle to take the choke off!

(contrast that to in some people's days, where they had to use a knob to set the choke, or maybe didn't even have electric start. ;o)
