Weird seeing the kids in #BackInTimeForBirmingham now in the 1990s looking at going to university there since Birmingham was my backup university if I'd not been able to get my place at Liverpool at that time.

On #BackInTimeForBirmingham on BBC2 right now it's the mid 1970s. Cost of living is rising. Discrimination is rife. People are protesting about pay. Glad we left all that behind.

Missed #BackInTimeForBirmingham when it was first shown, but catching a rerun of it now on BBC2. We do like these #BackInTime programmes and suspect the premise would make for a good, themed week's holiday experience. Who wouldn't want to spend a day or two enveloped in all things 1970s or 1980s? All that polyester! The wallpaper!

If you didn’t catch #BackInTimeForBirmingham last year, it’s currently being repeated on #BBC2 / #iPlayer. The Sharma family are delightful and make the show. Definitely worth watching.
