Desperately seeking loopholes to buy content creator packs for #citiesskylines - for those who came in late, I am challenging myself to spend no money on games this year and just play my #backlog2023

Tempted again by the #citiesskylines DLC and content creator packs, I would love to have more buildings to play with. But I must exercise restraint. I have spent plenty already on games so I need to play ones I have! #backlog2023

An update on #backlog2023 - my quest to play only my backlog this year and not buy any new games.

I have had only one slip up so far - buying V-bucks to buy the #fortnite Battle Pass. I wasn't even thinking about the challenge when I did it, it was to catch up with my wife and housemate after playing most of the season.

I have exercised incredible self control not to buy the #CitiesSkylines content creator packs. I've been playing a lot recently and I'm keen for some new asset packs. But I must abstain...

Also, 100% the main story on #SpiderMan ! Which I'm excited about. I am taking a break before coming back for the DLCs as I feel a bit burnt out from it.

Otherwise, I haven't touched any of my other games...just been so busy with work!

Currently playing #Dorfromantik on my #SteamDeck. It's a fantastic puzzler and city building toy all in one, and really relaxing. Glad I bought it! #backlog2023 #gaming

Am update on my quest to only play the #games I have in my #backlog.

I am currently playing #SpiderMan on the #SteamDeck. So far, it's an absolutely fantastic experience, looks and runs great. The only downside is that it chews through battery incredibly fast! But that's not too much of a problem as I'm usually home with the #RescueDog Nico.

My commitment is no new games in 2023. Right now, I'm confident I can do that!
