There's something really cozy about reading feeds here. Little-to-no ads, bots, or insane drama. Just people posting their thoughts. It really makes you realize how much Twitter was built to be an ad platform first-and-foremost, not a social platform.

Is it theoretically possible to start an instance that defaults to blocking all other instances? Then it could whitelist the ones its members want and there would be no risk of a new instance sneaking in to harass? Just wondering if that's even technically doable. #mastodon #feditips #badathashtags
