@pmonks I know both city's drivers well, and though LA drivers are deteriorating, Boston's are still worse.

It isn't just about breaking the law, it is about competence. Boston drivers aren't very skilled.

Something about averting their gaze as a strategy for gaining "right of way". They aren't just bad, they also aren't very good.

I’ve been offline for a number of days now, not by choice. I’ve been in hospital. Happily riding my new bike to my volunteer job & a woman in a BMW SUV came straight out of her driveway not even stopping to look what was coming - me.
I’m lucky. Radial head fracture of my arm, T12 compression fracture of my spine. So I’m in a brace & a sling! Sounds worse than it is but it definitely isn’t fun. I’m doing ok & will be fine but I find I’m not good at being restricted!
On a better note, my bike is fine but may need an adjustment of the handlebars & I put a good dint in the BMW 💪🏼 & the woman will be charged. #Accident #Cycling #BadDrivers

I always see dumbasses who drive around with high beams on in crowded roads. They should be tied up with a lamppost and whipped on their asses.

Being a woman is expensive. I had to buy a car because men, mostly white men were attempting to run me over in their car. This is in addition to the sexual abuse they were yelling from their cars. For those of you in the SF Bay Area. Please be careful on the roads. It's obviously very wet, and there is a good deal of flooding. Driving through water of unknown depth can end very poorly. Also even if you know the depth, going through it at high speed is just an asshole thing to do.
