Sainsbury's in Truro has been working hard on adding pocket dimensions to its ground level parking. I really would like to know how they do it 🤔
(Seriously though, if you know what likely software vs sensor vs configuration error that's going on here, please give me your theory in the replies. This has been going on for months but the photo is from today.)

Just had a scene id like to see in a techno-thriller mystery in my head where the head investigator tells the computer guy to enhance and image of someone reading a document so many times that they get a clue analyzing the ink composition of the document text.
Super leery of for-profit companies making biometric use cases primary and making them appear mandatory. You can opt out of biometric boarding, but they already have your data. Ugh! Why aren’t people upset about this overreach by tech?!? Why aren’t we regulating this?

While we're on the topic of complaining about tech that our Uni spends BIG bucks on and that is terrible and should never have been purchased:
* 'edge learning' (see prev)
* 'trellis' (SalesForce, a fascist company with terrible but very expensive products)
* 'taskstream' (basic forms and routing under the world's stupidest covers)
* 'voicethread' (has never been accessible)
* whoever the f** built 'edisclosure' & 'eIRB' (wow, awfull)

Melancholy day in spite of the sun shining. I think a nap is on the schedule for today (as well as a massage). The new laptop work sent me still doesn't work correctly. You would think that a tech company could figure out how to provision hardware for their own employees, eh? #mh2023 #depression #badtech
