Finished watching the latest series of The #Mandalorian and I have a couple of questions.

1. Who'd want to be a stormtrooper? All they do is throw themselves at whoever is firing at them. They have no tactical sense whatsoever. It's no way to run an army (unless you're #Putin )
2. Why doesn't anyone use drones, for instance, to see around a corner? (I'll just pop my head out...)
3. Why do the puppets all remind me of the Diddymen?
4 Why do the aliens all look like animals?

✍️ Sister met me in the Piggly-Wiggly parking lot today. She called me yesterday, first time in a couple months, and I responded to "How are you?" with "Skint, and you?"

I got out of my Fiat and walked one step to her open window. Before we said a word, Sister handed me $500 in folded-over 20s—the final payout from Mom's estate. She died a year ago Sunday coming.

Me: (Wanting to give something because that's how I am): "I got this mandarin orange bread pudding for you. I had some it's epic!"

Sister: "Nah. I gave up sweets for Lent."

Me: "Do Episcopalians—I mean not-Catholics observe Lent?"

Sister: "Anglican."

Me: "Church of England?"

Sister: "Actually, 'Church of Africa."

Me:

Sister has a degree in comparative religion. Only reason she's not ordained is because she's a woman in the branch of her "faith" that says "No!" to women and #queers. We don't talk about it.

She is on the "pastoral team" at the local MedCtr and candidate for "Certification" of some sort.
