This quick little sew came out better than I hoped given my experience level with piping. One of the hallmarks of Ginger's patterns is ease of assembly and classic design that will always allow for a great deal of creativity. I match the pattern to the Luxe Hardware and More Tiffany colored zipper tape I had the beginnings of this project and it came together from there.

Bag exterior is complete, interior WAS done until I realized I sewed the base panel to the top edges. I’m letting it sit overnight to think about what it’s done.

I made this for me so there are places where I got a little sloppy. But, I am happy about how it turned out and today was the first day I carried it as an extended wallet that can quickly convert to a crossbody. Adidtionally, this is a modification and is essentially a "tester" of sorts.

One reason I learned to sew my own bags, is to include the features that are important to me. Like having pockets that actually hold what I need. My insulin pump controller, my Hobonichi Weeks planner, and a pocket that is appropriately deep for pens without losing them in the depths.
