“Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan” (1982) 1/4 - I often daydream about Denis Villeneuve bursting into his AD’s office and demanding they get bagpipes in “Dune” stat. Is the AD’s face stricken, is it bemused, or is it blank, like a cipher? Then while rewatching Khan I was reminded Scotty, who is Scottish, plays the bagpipes at Spock’s funeral. Now I can’t stop wondering if Khan’s AD had a similar experience, and if reality is stuck in some sort of infinite #BagpipesInSpace loop.
