@schnedan It needs a portion of good luck, randomness and we have downloaded all the KMZ (GPX) files from the '#Bahntrassenradwege' website and opened them with #OrganicMaps. So we can always see if one of these routes is on our approximate route. Now we are looking for interesting routes in Brittany and Normandy, Belgium, Holland, and Denmark...

- many gravel roads
- a lot of gluten free products
- amazing sweets #cheescake
- car drivers respect cyclists
- nearly no traffic during the night

Contra:
- no public toilets, there is shit and waste everywhere
- cycling routes not signed or inexistent
- people are reserved (don't expect to meet new people)
- coasts are full of traffic
