Made Nougat/Torrone last night, but it seems I didn’t reach the proper syrup temperatures. This morning I have a tray of delicious, but ridiculously gooey, sticky taffy-like substance, studded elaborately with hazelnuts, pistachios, and almonds. There’s nothing even worth photographing - a half-tray covered in beigeness…
