So today I needed to do some hasty wood repairs. Heard about the "wonders" of super glue and baking soda... Well, my goodness, it is quite amazing!

It hardens instantly, very hard, and, oh yes, it is exothermic (and it does get quite hot), but it creates an admittedly difficult to guide shape result that it is sand-able and paint-able.

Only used it on porous material like wood, but I can already see that this "Heath Robinson" solution has a lot of potential!

Best plumbing service I have ever paid for was the plumber who told me about #ZipIt drain cleaning tool! SKIP the #drano or #bakingsoda. @heyrochelle @BobLefridge @LisSmith Indeed - like all these little bits are needed to make things work nicely again.

I use a #Safari extension called #Vinegar which changes the YouTube web player to use the built in Apple one instead. This has the wonderful outcome of no ads, PiP playback, and less battery drain. There’s another companion one called #BakingSoda which does the same thing with other web players.

#BakingSoda is amazing. What can't it do? I learned from WebMD (of all places) that neutralize corrosion on one's battery terminals by applying "a paste of baking soda and water". I did it, the corrosion and baking soda reacted with one another. Now when I jump my car does it start? Nope. But that's a different problem (and a reason to appreciate working from home).
