Readers of my novel will remember the Urato Facility, Santaku Group's test range and factory on Sabusawa Island.

Here's the real Yamazaki Shipyard-- which in the story became the Urato Facility-- as it launched the hybrid Japanese-Western style vessel Kaiseimaru, in the 1850s.

In Bakumatsu era, neither Kaishu Katsu nor Takeaki Enomoto were venerable origin.
