The more I listen to this album by #Balimaya Project, the deeper it gets. Pan West #African #Jazz from #London led by a #djembe player. The horns evoke #highlife and #afrobeat but the #kora and #balafon and #talkingdrum send the music around the region. Deep polyrhythmic grooves, catchy melodies and strong solos.
