BALARA: Chicken
Dinner tonight is some kaalang (hot) roasted BALARA. I'm still wondering what the source for the word is as to my knowledge, chickens didn't make it to Nyoongar Boodja until the wadjela (whitefellas) came but it doesn't sound like a word from any wadjela language that I know
