Here's what I got done while working on Baldi's Fun New School Plus Ultimate Edition over the past few days.
- Added a launcher screen when you start the game.
- Added a "Randomized" game difficulty to the launcher.
- Game difficulties that aren't finished yet now have "WIP" on their information screen.
- The music on the warning screen now fades in and out.

- Updated the playtime bossfight.
- Changed the speed at which the jumpropes move at each phase in the playtime bossfight.
- Jumpropes in the playtime bossfight can now come from more than one direction.
- Playtime can now recover from being stunned in the playtime bossfight.

- Added dynamic lighting to the tile lighting system. This makes it so the brightness of tiles are affected by their distance from a light source (which includes moving light sources as well).

- Made some changes to grappling hook item code.
- Fixed the grappling hook pulling you so fast at lower framerates that you would sometimes clip through walls.

Relating to this post (https://mastodon.gamedev.place/@johnsterspacegames/109470327360661272), I've now gotten some work done on the visual effects. Like exhaust particles which change color while boosting, and placeholder spark particles that appear while you are drifting and change color depending on how long you have been drifting for. These effects also apply to the other racers' vehicles as well.
